Pasture Raised Pork

Our heritage breed pigs are a mix of Berkshire, Tamworth, and Duroc. Heritage breed pigs are more suited to being raised on pasture and remain outdoors all year round. We implement a rotational grazing system where we move the pigs to fresh pasture as needed. They love to root, run and roll around in the mud, and don’t forget the belly rubs! Pasture raised pork from our heritage pigs is very well marbled and much more rich in flavour.

Our pigs feed on pasture grass and roots.  Their main feed is a non-GMO hog grower from Surecrop Feeds. We've also recently begun to produce sprouted barley fodder for our pigs.
